We are pleased to announce an outstanding performance at this year’s Mobile Electronics News Industry Awards. This year’s awards were voted on by mobile electronics distributors, dealers and members of the public to identify the best in-car entertainment products of 2010 and as always VIBE Audio emerged as a clear favourite.

For the 9th year running VIBE took home the Gold Award for the Best Powered Bass Box with the BlackAir Vented 12 enclosure. The Vented 12 is the next generation of our world famous CBR enclosure; the updated model features a finely tuned trinity of subwoofer, amplifier and enclosure for superior bass performance, proving a hit with both critics and consumers.

The BlackAir 12 subwoofer which is loaded into the Vented 12 also received the bronze award for best entry level subwoofer.

The heavyweight competition level BlackDeath 15 subwoofer has been dominating SPL competitions across the globe with its brutal bass output, and has now won the Gold Award for Product Innovation.

Our wide range of amplifiers also enjoyed a considerable amount of success with Gold Awards for both the entry level Slick A1 and BlackBox Stereo 2, with the Slick A7 also winning the Silver Award. The BlackBox Bass 1 and BlackBox Stereo 4 also took Bronze awards in the high end amplifier categories showing VIBE can offer quality products for any level of install.

BlackAir speakers were praised for their perfect balance of power and precision with the BlackAir 5 Speakers winning the Gold Award for Best Entry Level 5” Speakers, and the BlackAir 6 taking Silver in the 6” category. The Space 5” and Space 6” speakers both won the bronze awards in the high end speaker categories.

Finally VIBE CEO received the most prestigious award of the evening; The Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to the Industry. VIBE has been at the forefront of the car audio industry for over 17 years and it is an honour to be recognised for this outstanding contribution by our industry peers.
